SSL for the subdomain

Hello!

  1. I created a CNAME record for the subdomain ss, the record is not proxied initially (the proxied record did not work, I used this tool to check it > toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#CNAME/.
  2. The main domain uses Universal SSL which does not cover unproxied records as far as I understand. With that said, could you help me with SSL for this subdomain please? I just want to activate https on ss. subdomain.

Whether you have the subdomain proxied or not, you will need an SSL certificate on your origin to secure traffic from users to your origin (or from Cloudflare to your origin if proxied).

Check with your host for their SSL certificate offering, or get one from Letsencrypt.
