SSL Error with Proxy State and Traefik

Hey Guys,

i have an server docker stack with an Traefik and create an cloudflare an A entry to the server. The A entry with an Proxy. When i call the URL i got an ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error in Chrome. When i use DNS instead of Proxy it works.

What do i wrong?

Cheers
Ralf

Either you are using a hostname which is on a level too deep to be covered by the Universal certificate or your certificate has not been issued yet. Both is covered by #tutorials.

What’s the hostname?

The Hostname is id.staging.unitfactory.services

That will be the former case then with a level too deep, #tutorials covers that.

You’ll need a $10/month proxy certificate from Cloudflare for that, on top of your server certificate.

Ah ok, is it possible to use id-staging.unitfactory.services, for example?

Absolutely, that’s one level beneath your domain and covered by the Universal certificate.

Just make sure you have a certificate on your server too.

Thanks Sandro

Mostest welcome
