SSL error in incognito browser for first CF/server request, not website specific.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Have a strange problem I can’t get to the bottom of.
Previously I was running non-wildcard SSL certificates on my domains.
All sites are setup to redirect any combination of http/s and www/non-www redirected to https://www.finalurl.com
This worked fine in all browsers, normal and incognito etc. and never had any problems. No matter what URL variant I entered, in either normal or incognito browsers, everything worked fine.
I recently switched to wildcard SSL certs to resolve some issues with mail subdomains, and since doing this the problem that in incognito browsers, what seems like the first request to cloudflare/the server, not the specific site, throws the message “urizenmedia.com doesn’t support a secure connection. You are seeing this warning because this site does not support HTTPS and you are in InPrivate mode.”
If I simply refresh the page or type the exact same URL I just entered again while still in incognito it works fine with no further problems.
What I mean by the problem occurs with “the first request to cloudflare/server rather than the site”, is say I have the 2 domains below:
jewellerymentor.com.au
urizenmedia.com
(And I have half a dozen others)
If I go to the jewellerymentor domain in a fresh incognito window, it throws the error. If I then go to the urizenmedia it works fine.
On the other hand, if If I go to the urizenmedia domain in a fresh incognito window, it throws the error. If I then go to the jewellery mentor that works fine.
I can do this with any combination of the half dozen sites hosted, and it’s always only the first request that throws the error, opening any other site in any order always works 100% after that.
Have tested on multiple computers/phones/browsers/VPN with the same result, to eliminate it being a local issue.
I’ve validated all my htaccess redirects, used umpteen redirect and ssl checker online tools and everything reports it as being setup correctly.
Just can’t work out why it’s this first incognito request only that is the problem.
What am I missing?
