SSL Certificate shows different issuer and expiration date than setup

So i’ve successfully rooted my website through Cloudflare, and even generated myself the SSL certificate from the Origin Server tab on Cloudflare (i’ve then intalled it on Godaddy cpanel, which looks ok).

However when I display the certificate from my web browser, it shows that the issuer is : Let’s Encrypt

and the expiration date for this year : Tue, 03 Aug 2021 (while mine expires on 2036…).

Is that normal?

What you’re seeing is the Edge Certificate your visitors see when they visit your site. This comes from Cloudflare’s proxy server – not your origin server.

Thanks for your answer, so my certificate won’t expire on Tue, 03 Aug 2021 right?

Also does that mean that Cloudflare uses Let’s Encrypt certificates?

Cloudflare uses a few certificate providers. And they will auto-renew your certificate before it expires.

Noted thanks.
