SSL certificate only works with 'www' prefix

Hi guys,

Our website’s SSL certificate only works when using the www prefix, and shows a security error when it’s not used - www.care24.ie is fine & care24.ie is not

Is there something in the DNS records that is incorrect/missing that causes this?

Thanks in advance!

D

For information:

The website runs on Squarespace, and the domain host is not held with Cloudfare. We had to proxy through cloudfare in order to use a custom domain for e-commerce. The CNAME record on Cloudfare is name: ‘www’ & content: ‘care24.ie’

Without www, it still loaded with https, then redirected to www.

Thanks for the response. When I try without www (Chrome) it still shows as not secure. I cleared cookies and tried again but got the same response
