What is the issue you’re encountering

We are currently experiencing an SSL certificate issue on our website [your website URL] despite using a Cloudflare Origin Certificate and enabling Cloudflare’s proxy in the DNS settings. When accessing the site, we receive a “Not Secure” warning in the browser, and upon inspecting the certificate, it shows as issued by Bitdefender Untrusted CA instead of Cloudflare. This is affecting our users’ trust and security compliance.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

Verified Cloudflare SSL/TLS settings (set to Full mode).
Ensured Cloudflare proxy (orange cloud) is enabled in the DNS settings.
Confirmed the origin certificate is correctly installed on our server.
Cleared browser cache and tried accessing from different networks.
Could you please assist in diagnosing and resolving this issue at the earliest? Let me know if you need any additional details.

Hi George,

Thanks for your reply.

I have now enabled Cloudflare’s proxy for our domain, and the SSL issue is resolved. However, I have noticed that even with the proxy enabled, we occasionally face the same issue where the certificate is not properly recognized, and the browser flags the site as “Not Secure.”

Could you please advise if there are any known fixes or additional configurations we should apply to prevent this intermittent issue?

Looking forward to your guidance.
