SSL certificate expired issue

When you tested your domain using the [Cloudflare Diagnostic Center what were the results?
[ no_dnssec_found

The site does not have any DNSSEC records.

The webiste has a certifcate, but the certificate doesn’t include the site’s hostname.

The response was slower than 800ms.

Describe the issue you are having:
need help renewing SSL certificate. The setting in Cloudflare is turned on to “full”, but was getting warning message on our site that the certificate expired 98 days ago.

Why was this, and how can it be fixed?

What error message or number are you receiving?

Your connection isn’t private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from site name (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).


What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. talked to hostgator
  2. reviewed settings in Cloudflare
  3. turned off SSL, then turned back on

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Your www record isn’t proxied so your site isn’t going through Cloudflare.

Wow that was fast, thank you! Can you please share how I can fix this, is this simple?

@clcooper, first of all you have an insecure encryption mode, it should not be Full, but Full Strict.

Then, just proxying it will not fix it, you need to renew your server certificate.
