Cloudflare gave me a private key and a certificate. I installed the private key in godaddy with no problem. I saved it and it was fine. When I tried to paste in the certificate when i saved it would not accept it. It says that it is wrong format. However with just the private key my site is showing secure and redirected to https. Is this the way it is suppose to work or am I missing something here.

If you are using an origin certificate, then GoDaddy might not accept it as it is self-signed. I would reach out to GoDaddy support to see if it is possible to use a self-signed certificate.
