When you tested your domain using the [Cloudflare Diagnostic Center] what were the results?
The webiste has a certifcate, but the certificate doesn’t include the site’s hostname.

Describe the issue you are having:
ssl cert showing as issued to a different domain name.

What error message or number are you receiving?
site not secure

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. switched to flexible instead of full SSL
  2. ensured subdomain cname is proxied
  3. paused Cloudflare and re-started

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
I’ve been on Cloudflare for over a year and it’s been working until now.

What are the steps to reproduce the error:

  1. go to social. bodyworkmedia. com
    2.click on “not secure”
  2. open “certificate is not valid”

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode?
Yes

Please attach a screenshot of the error:

social.bodyworkmedia.com doesn’t appear to be proxied through Cloudflare (grey-clouded). It returns an IP for a Hetzner server - not a Cloudflare one.

You will need to either proxy this through Cloudflare (turn on the orange cloud in your DNS settings) if that is the intention, or configure which SSL cert to be served at your origin, outside of Cloudflare.

I must be missing something here… this is what I’ve got:

Heard back from Cloudflare. I think the issue is my name servers aren’t on Cloudflare and need to be, but I’m still confused because I haven’t changed anything and had this all setup correctly for the past year. It just stopped working in the last few days.
