Sporadic self-redirects

When requesting https://portal.xyte.io we get 301 back to itself. The problem goes away by itself after a few seconds.

This keeps happening in different browsers, to different users and randomly.

What is your SSL/TLS encryption level in the CF dashboard?

Currently set to: Flexible

Since my server has https as well, I assume Cloudflare’s connection to it is SSL as well.

Still, its only mentioned as “not recommended” not as “sometimes not working”. Trying to understand why it might fail sporadically

Maybe your server gives up on doing its own redirect after enough tries. Try setting CF’s encryption level to FULL (FULL strict if possible, but it’ll only work if you have a valid certificate) to see if it works.
