I have placed an SPF record in my DNS settings that was copied-and-pasted from my WHM.
Yet, lookups of my domain indicate “no SPF record found”. I checked CF DNS settings, and the record is still there.
Help?

Hi @drmatt, sorry for the trouble. Are you experiencing this delay at the moment? We did have a delays of up to 60 minutes in updates to DNS records on March 12, https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/. Please let us know if you’re still seeing issues.
Hi cloonan,
Yes, I believe I made the update on the 12th. However, I am experiencing the problem right now.
My email monitor says emails are passing SPF, however a lookup for the record returns empty.
An email I just sent from my server to a gmail account says it passed SPF, but failed DMARC.
At a total loss to explain this behavior. I will clear the cache and see if that helps. Please let me know if you have any more ideas.
If you send a test email to this site https://www.mail-tester.com/ or this site https://dkimvalidator.com/ they’ll provide some information where things may be going wrong. Let us know if you have any questions after the tests.
dmarcian.com is also a good one.
I use dmarcian often and it’s my go-to for creating records.
If you are using Cloudflare for DNS only, and you have your site / domain hosted with another registrar, I recommend installing all MX records there as well. When I set up ProtonMail, it’s what I did and the process was fairly quick.
