Something chagned since last night, can’t reach external Web site internally
Internal and external domain the same (was like that when I got here)
www record hasn’t changed
No other DNS changes

What is the website?
I can reach it outside the network - bizzare
What do you see returned on an internal DNS query? What did the query return before last night?
DNS Query? as in www record?
Yes, as in the output of nslookup www.wbrhely.org
. It has to have changed between when it worked and now.
Server: DC-02.wbrhely.org
Address: 10.1.1.25
Name: www.wbrhely.org.wbrhely.org
Address: 99.83.190.102
Why did you append your domain to the www
hostname twice?
I didn’t
Something did, because you can see it in your reply.
internal and external the same domain (legacy)
been like this for years
Try placing a period at the end of the name you are looking up. The period signifies the top of the DNS hierarchy and should prevent your domain from being appended.
e.g. nslookup www.wbrhely.org.
I don;'t understand this at all
Check if there is a typo in www.www.wbrhely.org.
everything but firefox fails.
Adds another www
WTH?
Server: DC-02.wbrhely.org
Address: 10.1.1.25
Name: www.wbrhely.org
Address: 99.83.190.102
(this is with period)
What’s wth the extra ‘www’ - never seen that before
Your public DNS for that record for that hostname returns a CNAME of proxy-ssl.webflow.com.
That CNAME does not resolve to 99.83.190.102
.
It is conceivable that prior to last night, you had a CNAME record in your internal DNS.
The extra www is probably a browser issue and is only a distraction right now. Best to ignore it until you fix your internal DNS.
