Some files are not purged by a custom purge

Hi folks,
we have the issue that when purging certain files from our cache, a lot of the time some files do not get updated as they should. Most files work without issue and are updated after purged once, but some files don’t react to purging at all, and it takes hours to days to have the newest version on CF. These files are regular css and image files.
Can anyone explain this and has an approach to solve this?

Kind regards

Can you post an example of a custom purge URL?

Does a Purge Everything do it?

Thanks for the reply!

https://www.***/templates/mobile/css/style.css

would be an example URL. I never tried purging everything since it’s a high volume production site.

That’s a simple enough URL that should purge easily. Does it ever use a query string? Those won’t get purged with the URL you posted.

It also shouldn’t be hard to Support to track this down. If you let them know the exact time you purged the resource, and which Datacenter you’re looking at, they should be able to check the cache.
