Smtp relay with IP authentication

I have a website that uses a SMTP relay for forwarding emails (like contact mails etc.). The server authenticates at the mail server via it’s IP address, no password required.
Will this still work if the website is delivered by cloudflare?

Yes, traffic originating from your server will not be routed via Cloudflare.

Only responses to http requests for your domain will go to Cloudflare.

Hi Laudian,

thanks for the quick response! Just to be sure, when somebody fills in the mail or application form and sends it, this request will be sent to our server and thus relayed correctly?

Yes. The (HTTP) request is sent to your server, and the server will send the email via the current route, same as always.

Only what the user sees (html files and such) go through Cloudflare.
