Smarterqueue blocked by bot?

Hi, I’m new to Cloudflare and added it to my site to block people from trying SQL Injection into my web site. I am currently using the free version.

After installing it on my web site, I notice that SmarterQueue (smarterqueue.com) which I use for scheduling to social media is no longer able to pull the main image from my posts. It says “Just a moment”, which I’m not sure if that’s a Cloudflare message or if it’s something on SmarterQueue side.

I can see an Event logged for the page which gives me an IP address, Country, User Agent, etc.

Is there any way to “allow” this through?

I was reading and thought maybe a firewall rule would work, but it sounds like the bot won’t let it through. Or would that work if I set up the IPs to allow in the firewall?

Would it help if I was on the $20/month plan?

Thanks for your help with this.
Chris

Hello,

The issue you are experiencing sounds like it may be related to Cloudflare’s Bot Fight Mode feature. If this is the case, I recommend either creating an “allow” IP Access Rule, or disabling Bot Fight Mode under Security > Bots.

Thanks. I ended up disabling bot fight mode.
