Hello there,
This is a whole account-related problem we’re facing for more than a month. Each day it’s getting worse. We did not made any changes to cloudflare configurations but this problem started automatically. When sites are behind Cloudflare the load time is extremely slow, even in developer mode they are still slower. They are only loading fast when we disable the orange cloud from DNS. The attached video was taken from a device that is connected to a fiber optic network. Can you take a look at why this happening?

Regards
PS: It’s not happening with all users, but with lot of them.
Count me as one of the users this isn’t happening to. That page loads for me in about two seconds through LAX.
Have your users try https://example.com/cdn-cgi/trace (use your domain name), then look for a trend in the “colo” value. Let us know how it looks for the various colos (if one is always slow, sometimes slow, always fast, sometimes fast, etc).

here are two results where the page load is slow.

So, its clearly a Cloudflare issue because if I turn it off everything works fine. What will be my workaround right now? I am considering to stop using Cloudflare because our customers are complaining now and we have no option to change co-location in Cloudflare. Also 10 years ago we can create tickets to contact Cloudflare directly now that’s not available anymore so seems like they are now more focused on bigger customers.
What will be your recommendation?
I am having the same issue since about three weeks with all of my sites on Cloudflare. The issue seems to be limited to the Germany region as my web analytics shows normal traffic from all over the world, and a service that shows how my sites are loading in different countries show that they are loading indeed fine. However from my location in Berlin Germany all of my websites on Cloudflare load extremely slow to the point of being unusable most of the time. When I disable caching everything works fine again. The Cloudflare dashboard is often very slow to completely unusable as well.
One of my affected domains is arkadia.xyz. When I run traceroute for that domain, I can see that the traffic is routed through cloudflare.edge6.dusseldorf1.level3.net
