Slow when Cloudflare turned on

What is the issue you’re encountering

With Cloudflare turned on my website is slow. When I activate ‘development mode’ the website is not slow. So only in combination with cloudflare my website is slow. This was before never the case. There are lately no new plugins installed on the (Wordpress website).

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  • I asked the hosted, there seems nothing wrong on their site (what I expected because when Cloudflare is turned off, it works fine
  • I purched the cashe
  • I checked my account for any warning messages, but they are not to be found.

You may want to consider running the URL in speed observatory.
After the test finishes running, you will get a Lighthouse score, and you will have access to the list of the tests run.
