What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Good day, I need some advice on my website which is intermittently slow/unresponsive after I started to use Cloudflare. It might be due to my/colleague’s VPN as when I turn it off during the unresponsive period, it resolves the issue. More over, if I allows my VPN IP address in Cloudflare, it also resolves the issue. Question: What options do I have to tackle this VPN issue (i.e., External user who use other VPN might be affected as well)?

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

So do you see a challenge page load when VPN is on? When you state slow/unresponsive do you mean you get a specific http status code?

When you check the IP of your VPN on “security events” in the dashboard do you see any specific events being triggered?

If that is the case can you please post the reason for the event triggering? As that will determine if the WAF is issuing a challenge that may be causing issues passing due to the VPN.
