Site traffic in GR routed through AMS for user in GR

My webserver is in Greece (GR) and I’m in Greece, but my site traffic is routed through Amsterdam. Why is this happening since my ISP, my webserver and Cloudflare are all peering members in GR-IX.

It sounds like you’ve done your homework, but it’s still up to your ISP to determine your routing.

What Cloudflare plan are you on? And do you mind sharing the domain? I could run some tests with proxies

I’ll answer my own question. I’m on the free tier and that just means that all routing through Cloudflare is BE. When ATH is full, I could get routed via CDG, AMS, etc.
