Site still redirecting after Page Rule deleted

I used a page rule to set a permanent 301 redirect from irongatevineyard.com/* to irongatefarmnc.com. But then realized I need to change something on the back end of irongatevineyard.com before I create a final backup and delete the site.

I tried deactivating the redirect but it wouldn’t stop. So I deleted the rule. Now it doesn’t redirect but it times out before I can get to the wp-admin login screen. Is there a propagation time or something? How can I get this to stop redirecting?

I cleared Chrome browser cache several times and tried other browsers to no avail. The problem persists.

What A/AAAA/CNAME record do you have for irongatevineyard.com? If it was for a redirect it may have a dummy value, or a value that doesn’t point to a real server. For that reason there won’t be any wp-admin or any other pages for it.

OK - my bad. I mis-typed the domain name in this message. It is actually irongatevineyards.com (with an s). The problem persists. I have three A records, 2 of which are 192.1.2.3 and the other is the one for Digital Ocean (Cloudways) where the site is currently hosted. Should I delete the two A records with 192.1.2.3?

Thank you for your help.

Nevermind. I deleted those records and all is well.

Thank you again for your help.
