please @alclubglobal_ltd @sandro any solution so far ?
I am experienced the same issue if I access it allorempla.com everything will work fine but if I used https://allorempla.com or https://www.allorempla.com I will get that error 521. please what can I do to sorted it out ?
Your webserver simply does not listen on its HTTPS port. You should contact your host for that.
okay, thanks let me get to them
http://allorempla.com/ works fine. What are you SSL/TLS settings in Cloudflare and did you install the Cloudflare certificates on your web server?
The OP already mentioned that.
The server simply does not respond to TLS in the first place.
What are you SSL/TLS settings in Cloudflare ?
I don’t know it still default setting I didn’t that
Did you install the Cloudflare certificates on your web server?
Yes I install the Certificate on my server by adding the DNS provided by Cloudflare.
and there are already propergated.and it’s showing actif there. even on my Cloudflare bashboard
Please what can I do then ?
Didnt you say you contacted your host?
No reply from them yet. I will be waiting then.
- go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/
- select your domain
- Select Crypto and if Full (Strict) is selected temporarily downgrade to Flexible
When you say you installed the certificates, was it through cPanel Security > SSL/TLS > Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS) and then install the following three items?
Certificate: (CRT)
Private Key (KEY)
Certificate Authority Bundle: (CABUNDLE)
That should be the absolute last resort. How temporary do you think this will be eventually
Well if support hasn’t responded in 3 hours… That could be the question of the day *and yes it should be an absolute last resort.
If every host responded (and had a fix) within three hours I’d be absolutely happy
This simply will take some time to be sorted out, especially if their server is not even configured for HTTPS, and could even require a change of host .
I am back with the response of my host. the said my port 433(https) is closed and also ly server is a VPS everything is to handle by me.
It’s running an Ubuntu 18.04
please how can I install the SSL on it
and I am trying to run some command from the internet to open the port 433 but none has worked so far
now I manage to open the port 443 on my server as you can see here
:/# nmap 51.68.227.165 t -Pn -p 443
Starting Nmap 7.60 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2018-10-30 13:52 CET
Nmap scan report for vps586364.ovh.net (127.0.1.1)
Host is up (0.000058s latency).
Other addresses for vps586364.ovh.net (not scanned): 51.68.227.165
PORT STATE SERVICE
443/tcp open https
Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.29 seconds
but errorhave changed to this : Error 525 SSL handshake failed
Your web server still needs to be set up to work on port 443 and have a SSL certificate installed.
please how can I do that any path to follow? I am running apache un an ubuntu OS
