Site isn't working with HTTPS

Site isn’t working in https mode. It’s gadgetpapers.com

  • I have SSL/TLS encryption mode in Full
  • I have Always Use HTTPS on
  • I have Automatic HTTPS Rewrites on

I’m not sure what else to do. I have set up almost 50+ domains on cloudflare and this is the first time it’s done this. I haven’t used it in months and I can see they made at least a couple changes since and apparently this is one of them and I’m stuck. Not sure why they decided to make things complicated. It was way easier for none techy people to use before, now it’s just a mess.

Anyone have any ideas how to get my site/domain working?

I’m seeing the same issue with a domain I just set up a few hours ago. It seems that the Universal SSL certificate was not automatically added to the account. I’ve “paused” Cloudflare on the domain until it can be resolved, which is allowing traffic to reach my site… but hoping that a fix will be available soon!

It was fixed. I emailed support and they had it fixed in minutes. Here’s what they did, hopefully this helps you. If not, I would email them directly to get your site working again with the https function.

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting Cloudflare Support. We’re sorry to read that you’re experiencing difficulties.

It looks like there was an issue provisioning your Universal SSL certificate.

I have manually done this for you. Can you check to see if this works for you now?

Hope that helps.

Thanks! I actually just got it fixed by simply disabling Universal SSL, waiting 10 minutes, then turning it back on. Glad we’re both up and running! Be well.
