Site is down - was working but now it is not

I am relatively new to CloudFlare. https://zimjs.org was working for a couple weeks. Now it is not - and has not been for the last few hours. I can’t figure out how to report this directly to CloudFlare so am trying here. If someone could tell me how to “start a ticket” on a free account, that would be good too.

My console tells me that all is good and I did not make any changes (to anything). I have checked that the site is down for everyone and it was reported that it is. I had not purged CDN cache so was surprised that that was not still working. Subsequently, I did purge CDN cache to see if that would help and it did not.

I have tried to resolve directly to the server and it works. See below. So… any suggestions?

Your domain has been suspended by the registry

https://icann.org/epp#clientHold

You need to clarify this with your registrar.

Well - that is a fast response!! Thanks. We will look into it. How did you find that? And any thoughts on what it means? Anyway - thanks again and will start to hunt down a solution.

A whois on your domain revealed that.

That your domain has been suspended by the registry . Why, is something only they can clarify.

Thanks! I read this too… okay - off I go.

This status code tells your domain’s registry to not activate your domain in the DNS and as a consequence, it will not resolve. It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes, non-payment, or when your domain is subject to deletion.

Often, this status indicates an issue with your domain that needs resolution. If so, you should contact your registrar to resolve the issue. If your domain does not have any issues, but you need it to resolve, you must first contact your registrar and request that they remove this status code.

Great - it was a bad e-mail in the domain listing. Changed that and confirmed and it unlocked.
