Recently, We had to disconnect from the Cloudflare CDN. We kept having connectivity issues about every 30 mins. this lasted for about two days until we removed cloudflare. The webhosting admin said there was a rash of ddos attacks on there network but other sites on there network, not using cloudflare, did not have issues. Since breaking from Cloudflare we have not had a single issue. Right now, I don’t think we will ever go back to using Cloudfalre again unless I can get a explanation of why we were have the connectivity issues.
I suspect Support can tell you why if you can give them a time period, there may be some indication of disruptions on the status page in past events, https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/.
I did check the status page regularly, Ashburn was the node that appeared in the error message. But The status was operational
