site can’t be reached since joining cloudfare and ssl certificate is not secure
Can you share the name of the domain?
Your Nameservers do not appear to be configured properly.
Thank you, that seems like it’s a newly registered domain, I was thinking this tip may assist, Community Tip - Fixing the DNS PROBE FINISHED NXDOMAIN error.
But, in looking at your settings, there are two issues to address. First, on the SSL/TLS app, can you change the ssl setting to Full instead of Full (strict)? (you have an expired origin certificate)
Next, on your DNS tab, can you add an A record with a name of @ (that will switch to your domain name once you enter it) with a value of your origin IP address and make sure the cloud next to it is ?
Please post back and let us know how it’s going.
thanks for your help, I have another domain working well on cloudfare www.carehighway.org
but after following you advice I am still not having any result with www.motionofhealth.com
I am not sure if I got the DNS record changes you mentioned correct
ok the www.motionofhealth.com is back the A record update seemed to do the trick
However I still get the connection to your site is not fully secure with the cloudfare SSL, whereas on my other domain I get the closed padlock symbol and the connection is secure
Cheers
oo, I’m geting a 1016 on http://www.carehighway.org/, Here’s a tip on 1016, Community Tip - Fixing Error: 530 / Error: 1016 Origin DNS Error. But, prior to going to the tip, check the spelling of your CNAME record for that zone and make sure it is carehighway.org.
On motionofhealth.com, on your DNS tab, can you also add a CNAME record called www with a value of motionofhealth.com, that CNAME record should also be .
Hi Cloonan
carehighway is https so it appears to be working fine on that
https://carehighway.org/wp/
https://www.motionofhealth.com/
I get the site not fully secure on the cloudfare SSL cert
I already have the cname entry you advised on motionofhealth.com
So it’s resolving fine, now. However, you have some mixed content you’ll need to resolve.
https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200170476-Troubleshooting-mixed-content-errors
will try that
thanks
Can you check to make sure your CNAME is www on motionofhealth.com?
I’m still not able to see carehighway.org now seeing DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN on naked domain and still 1016 on http://www.carehighway.org/
And, following on the comment from @Withheld, +1, yes something is odd. And, that @sabejogar is seeing things working well when we’re not and not when we are is also odd . @Withheld, which domain were you seeing worked fine but with mixed content?
Edit - @sabejogar, on carehighway.org, your origin certificate will expire Jul 1, when that happens you may want to flip SSL to Full instead of Full (Strict).
@cloonan you’re right on the money. It was a copy & paste gone wrong at my end… I must have sun stroke or something…
Hi Cloonan and Withheld
All seems fine for now on both domains, I downloaded a plugin for the mixed content issue on motionofhealth and then in DNS setting I changed full strict to full, so the settings do differ a bit between the domains plus I only have the plugin on motionofhealth so we shall see how it all goes, but all good for now with secure connections.
Many thanks

Hi @sabejogar,
The site loads fine for me with HTTPS, sounds like a local issue or cached value. Either clear your local caches or wait for them to clear. It sounds like your requests are still going straight to the server with an invalid cert and not through Cloudflare.
