Site blocked from Japan, causes global issues

Hello everyone. Our site is on cloudflare for a while. Over year ago an issue popped up - our site was blocked in Japan, both on DNS and IP level. Resolving our domain form Japan gives bogus results, and any connection to our IP address fails from Japan. We can live with this, but then it turned out that Japanese cloudflare server is a big one. For example all traffic from Australia goes over Japanese server, which means that our site became blocked in Australia as well. Just today we got blocked from Europe for the same reason - from time to time we get intermittent errors coming from Japanese cloudflare server - apparently cloudflare network configuration changes dynamically and a user from Europe can be routed through Japanese server from time to time.

Any pointers how to solve this? Ideally, configuration that would disable Japanese server for our website would be the best.

We are on a free plan, but the service is has a tremendous value - so it is probably a right time to bite a bullet and switch to a paid plan. However, it would be very unfortunate if we switch to a paid plan only to learn that nothing could be done and we have to leave the platform…

You can’t disable regional servers for a site, but I strongly suggest you open a ticket and post the ticket # here. I don’t think a Paid Plan will change much.
