Since signing up for Cloudflare email not working

Yesterday I signed up for Cloudflare and now my apple mail is not receiving emails. mail and webmail are grey clouded. Do I need to do anything on my server (InMotion) or change MX records (if so how do I do that).
This is the message I get when trying to download mail:
There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “info” or try again.
The server returned the error: The connection to the server “smilepix.com” on port 993 timed out.

smilepix is set to :orange:, so you can’t reach it with a mail app.

Try mail.smilepix.com instead.

Thanks for you quick reply.
Not sure which one in the list to change.
Do I change
Type: A
Name: smilepix.com
Value: points to 144.208.76.100
Cloud to orange.

Add a new record which points to your (mail) server

Type A
Name: mail
Value: 123.456.789.1
Cloud icon: :grey:

After that you need to reconfigure your mail client to mail.smilepix.com

Careful:
This setup will reveal your origin’s IP address if it’s the same that is used for your website.

As it turns out, I can receive emails, but not send them.
Is there any other settings I need to do.

What exactly doesn’t work? Any error message?

I can send mail from Webmail, but not my Apple email client. The message says it can’t connect to the host and asks for the password for the email account. When I enter the password the message is: Unable to verify account name or password.
