What is the issue you’re encountering

Shopify orange-to-orange does not work

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I am trying to reconcile this from Shopify: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/troubleshoot-issues-with-domains#cloudflare-proxy-present

with this from Cloudflare: Shopify · Cloudflare for Platforms docs

I am missing something, I’m sure, but chatting with Shopify support, and reading their documentation, Shopify does not support orange-to-orange.

Hi @zakri . Let me supply a merged screenshot since I can’t upload more than one.

If I turn on the orange cloud, I get a Shopify icon that links to the same documentation you sent. (This is a domain we own. It’s not purchased through Shopify.)

But turning on the orange cloud gives us a 500 error.

And Shopify loses the domain connection. I’ve given it 15 minutes to sort out. It does not.

Am I missing a step? I may not be understanding the documentation.
