Although we copied 4 CName records to Cloudflare, it appears that the domain authentication has failed
Can you show a screenshot of those records?
It looks like the “Flatten all Cnames” option is enabled in your DNS settings, you need to disable that.
Thank you for your help and yes, that is indeed what caused it. Can I go ahead and enable after the authentication passes? Or should I keep the “Flatten all Cnames” option disabled?
I’d keep it disabled. You can flatten individual records if you have a need to, but there’s not much use in doing so for most purposes.
