Hi, today I bought a domain in nic but I don’t want to recognize Cloudflare to link it with shopify, can you help me ?

Thank you for asking.

From what I read, you don’t want to do is to integrate Cloudflare through Shopify interface for your domain name as a SaaS, but rather manually add your domain name to your Cloudflare account and use Shopify for it, correct? :thinking:

I believe you should:

  1. Add your domain name to your Cloudflare account
  2. Use “Connect existing domain” in their interface, if so
  3. Therefore, you would be prompted to add a new DNS record, a CNAME record with the target pointed to them / or an A record with the IP pointed to them.
  4. Follow the instructions.

Otherwise, you would add your domain to Shopify and then activate Cloudflare for it - which is the way which you don’t want to go, right?
