Setup with previous DNS through Homestead

Good afternoon! I am utilizing homestead for a club website. Yesterday, i added the Cloudflare nameserver provided by Cloudflare. It has not yet been 24 hours but we are approaching. The site is still unavailable (error 1001) at i want to make sure this is ready to go once Cloudflare finishes their confirmation that I own the domain. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn’t look like you changed your nameservers: 172800 IN NS 172800 IN NS 172800 IN NS
;; Received 167 bytes from in 24 ms

They were changed.

No, they were not changed.

The menu you are in tells your registrar to change they nameservers, but they didn’t.

You can also check here, where you can see your nameservers:

Your screenshot matches the one shown in the Homestead documentation, but your nameservers are definitely not being updated at the registrar.

Your domain status of clientUpdateProhibited may be a clue. You may need to unlock your domain for the change to be accepted. You can lock it again once the update successfully completes.

Thank you for the reply. I have unlocked the domain, however as expected, no immediate change. Ill wait a couple minutes to see if its updated at all.

You should be able to update the nameservers now.

Domain Status: ok

Once your domain is activated in your Cloudflare account, you can lock the domain again for security. How long have you seen that take?

It usually updates rather quickly. If you have resubmitted your nameserver change and don’t see them, you will want to contact your registrar (Homestead) support directly.
