Setup of subdomain only

Hello,

We currently have a website, example.org.au, which is running a campaign site at campaign.example.org.au. This subdomain is hosted on a different server as it’s quite large and we needed bigger hosting, we’re currently pointing the A Record for the subdomain to this hosting and it still has the same DNS as the root domain.

We’re looking at setting up Cloudflare just for campaign.example.org.au site and not example.org.au.

Could anyone provide some tips on how to go about this?

You need to add the entire domain DNS to Cloudflare. It’s still workable. You just need to merge all the DNS records here. The only way to do subdomain-only would be on a Business or Enterprise plan.
