Setup a cname

I know but i will be honest i spent 6 hours trying to figure how to set a cname and i couldn’t , anyone can give me very simplified example please , my domain name is through namecheap and i am trying to use it with Cloudflare , let say my domain name is x.com so how am going to set up a cname please. Thanks .
