We are trying to set up Sendgrid for a subdomain and are unsure where to start. We ideally want to keep the DNS for the root of the domain with Azure but the subdomain on Cloudflare.
That’s called Sub-Domain Delegation - In order to do this you need an Enterprise account at Cloudflare.
If you have one it’s totally possible, you will add Cloudflare NS records on AZURE for the SUB domain in your Cloudflare account. But without an enterprise account, you won’t be able to get it accomplished.
Thank you. I have submitted a contact me form to talk to sales, for just this feature I am afraid that the enterprise account may be prohibitively expensive, but it doesnt hurt to ask and see what else may be available.
Interesting I am thinking that Enterprise is not needed for Sub-Domain Delegation.
States its available on all plans.
We may look at the pro plan for some additional functionality.
AH, but I think I understand that you are referring to you cant use Sub Domain Delegation with partial (CNAME) setup.
You can delegate sub domains out on all plans, You just can’t delegate into cloudflare with a sub-domain unless on an enterprise plan.
