Setting up DNS for Amazon AWS

Web developer wants me to do this:

  1. Delete the A record pointing to 54.245.106.105.
  2. Add a CNAME for target @ to host page1-prod-d7-alb-469903480.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com
  3. Edit CNAME for www to point to page1-prod-d7-alb-469903480.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com

I can’t seem to create the 2 entries he wants and don’t want to delete the A record until I do that.
Maybe I don’t understand where to put the @ sign if I’m creating entry 1.
And I get an error when I try to create the WWW entry.

Well, I figured it out. I could not enter the Cname until the A record was deleted.
All OK.
