Setting up a site on a subdomain as a subdirectory

Two questions regarding the setup necessary for accessing a Subdomain as a subdirectory) - as per (based on SEO Best Practices with Cloudflare Workers, Part 2: Implementing Subdomains at Subdomain vs. Subdirectory Strategies – Improving SEO Pt 2)

Q1. Are the necessary Cloudflare services (Workers etc) available in the free version of Cloudflare?
Q2. Has anyone seen or created a video which shows how to actually achieve it?

In our case the subdomain is a wordpress blog hosted on Siteground and the main domain is a catalogue site setup and managed through a third party. So, we want the subdomain (blog.ourdomain.co.uk) to be navigable as a subdirectory (www.ourdomain.co.uk/blog)
