What is the issue you’re encountering

Trying to get our Registar to add the DS Record, however they are asking for the protocol

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We are trying to get our domain registar to add the DS record. We have provided them with all the details provided by Cloudflare, however they keep asking me for the protocol. I’m not sure what they are asking for I assumed it was just a standard record type that could be added.
I was just wondering if someone could please point me in the right direction

Although we can easily attempt with some guesses, a wrong guess would make your domain inaccessible, from any location worldwide, that are validating DNSSEC.

I will therefore suggest you to ask your registrar again, and insist that they provide you with information about what exactly they are referring to, when they say “protocol”.
