Setting differnet branch for .pages and custom domains

hi there,

i am using custom domain for Cloudflare pages. is it possible to attach diiferent branches to the domains for example the example.com

custom domain: example.com
Cloudflare pages domain : example.pages.dev

can i make the custom domain to build from main branch while pages.dev to build from staging branch of the same repo?
