Server rejecting emails

We have an issue with some customers not being able to email us at [email protected]

I spoke to bluehost who said to change the mx record on Cloudflare which I did and now have a warning about the ip address in the A record being exposed. They said to remove the mail record from A record but I can’t see anything there with a mail record.

Please Help! Many thanks, Mike.

Set the Proxy status for the mail record to Unproxied (:grey:) / DNS-only.

I assume that’s the CNAME record; name mail, content mail.bluehost.com and have changed it to Unproxied/ DNS-only as you suggest.

I will give it 48 hours and test the emails again. Is there anything else I need to do? What about the ip address exposure warning?

The MX record for your domain seem to point to another Proxied (:orange:) record.

Change the content of that one to “box5743.bluehost.com

You need to Ignore the warning, as you cannot proxy email traffic.
