Server Error on my page

What is the name of the domain?

slye.com.ng

What is the error number?

server error 400

What is the error message?

server error

What is the issue you’re encountering

Am trying to publish a json page using elementor. on trying to save or publish, I’m getting server error, in one of the pop up it was pointing to cloudflare. This particular domain server is no more pointing to cloudflare server but yet the error is pointing to it.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I browsed about server error 400. I tried deleting its record on cloudflare. I’m not sure if am able to delete ir wether this will resolve the issue.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

1.create an account on a domain
2.point it to cloudflare servers
3.then re- point it to another servers
4.try editing and publishing a json page with WordPress elementor.

That domain name does not exist.

Can you please check for typos / spelling mistakes?

oh sowie, the correct domain is

slyeweb.com.ng

That domain does not run over Cloudflare at the moment.

However, in the set up that seems to have been attempted on on Cloudflare, there are no DNS record(s) pointing the domain towards any hosting service.

Neither for the naked domain, nor the “www” variant.

Thank you for the reply. This is the screenshot of the error message am getting and its link to challenges.cloudflare.com

According to the name of the image file (the screenshot), it seems like you’re still experiencing this?

  1. What exact URL are you browsing when this is happening, according to your browser’s address bar?

  2. What exactly are you trying to do, when this is happening?

  1. This is the url = https://slyeweb.com.ng/video-course-page/

  2. am trying to exit the page using elementor.

The link you sent is loading Cloudflare Turnstile (e.g. challenges.cloudflare.com things) after quite a few requests has been made, however, as your website does not actually use Cloudflare, the challenges sem to be originating from somewhere else, such as e.g. the system you’re using (e.g. Elementor), and/or one of it’s dependencies that it is being loaded along the way.

Vimeo, which is among the various external things you’re embedding on the website is for example using Cloudflare, and I wouldn’t say it is unlikely that the set up for their website (since you’re embedding content from their website) is causing this.

Maybe their (Vimeo’s) systems are detecting an unusual load from your network, and using Cloudflare to challenge you, as a part of their anti-bot mechanisms.

The troubleshooting would need to be done with the website owner of the website that is causing the challenges to appear, so you would need to dig in to your systems to figure out what exactly is causing these challenges.

As your own website is not using Cloudflare, there isn’t anything directly between you and Cloudflare that can be done.

That said, - a couple of things you can do on your own:

  1. Make sure you update your browser(s) and operating system(s).

  2. Make sure you don’t install a bunch of (useless) extensions in your browser(s).
“Ad-blockers” and/or “privacy” extensions are known to cause issues with some CAPTCHA’s and/or anti-bot mechanisms.

  3. Check your operating system’s date and time settings, to make sure they are configured correctly.
