Server close to Belgium

Hi,

My website loads quite slow because it’s hosted in America, while I live in Belgium (Europe). It should automatically use the closest server, but it uses America for my site (www.hippiehooray.be), which makes it load very slow. Can this be changed?

Thanks!

How do you tell?

You can check that on multiple websites:

It does not then.

Do you mean I need to send you this?

Correct, you are going via the French datacentre.

But in America is only takes 2 seconds to load my page, and 4 seconds in Belgium. Is that correct?
Thanks

I dont know what you exactly mean by that. But your site is loaded from the “local” datacentre. The bigger issue is that you embed a lot of resources from third party sites (which do not go through your domain and Cloudflare) and that even your own resources do not seem to be cached (caching status is DYNAMIC) and hence will always be requested from your server. This is most likely because of caching headers you send and which instruct Cloudflare to ignore the cache.
