Security Events now only shows 10 entries

The “Sampled Logs” in the security event viewer are useless

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have my small website and a personal blog on the free plan and pay for WordPress APO. I know that I get what I pay for but I’d like to point out that the switch of the Security Event log to “Sampled Logs” essentially renders the event log pretty much useless for troubleshooting. All I’m seeing are 10 (TEN!!!) most recent entries, based on a “50% Sample”. I might not even know what exactly I am looking for or should filter for when I try to determine why some service or a non-tech savvy user is being blocked or challenged.

Please, for god’s sake, bring the original Event viewer with 24h events back…

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

I’ve noticed Cloudflare team about this and engineering team is aware of this and is working to resolve this as soon as possible.

Until fixed and resolved, the temporary workaround is to use Security → Analytics, select filter “Mitigated by WAF” and then use pagination to check the requests or apply further filters.
