Someone please tell me this is a simple fix.

Im using wp with godaddy and a shared server. not sure what else to do.

Hi @ftwrthtx, here are some ideas, Community Tip - Fixing Error 525: SSL handshake failed. I was going to say first look into the suggestion from @sandro WRT your origin server. But, before that, you may want to take a look at your DNS tab. I don’t see any DNS records for the domain. Now I do see the records. A curl to your origin shows error:1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number

I am not familiar with that particular error, but you may want to set ssl to Full or Flexible until you get a valid certificate on the origin at which point you really want to flip it back to Full (Strict).

To know you have a valid cert, look at your origin from a terminal window, replace 123 with your origin IP:
curl -svo /dev/null --resolve freedomtotalk.net:443:123.123.123.123 https://freedomtotalk.net
