Dear community, I am reaching out to report an issue we’ve been experiencing with Facebook’s scraper when attempting to access content from our website. For the past few days, the Facebook Debugger tool (Sharing Debugger - Meta for Developers) has been unable to display our content properly. When running the scraper for a specific URL, we encounter a 503 error: Could you please assist us in identifying and resolving the issue so that Facebook scraping can function correctly again? You should see such requests being either challenged or blocked at the Security tab → Events, coming from ASN of Facebook or IPv6 addresses of Facebook as well.
Double-check which service is triggered and play a bit with WAF to see. Could be some of your Security settings to tune-up a bit and allow it if it’s being blocked with some Custom Rule or service like Browser Integrity Check/Bot Fight Mode
