What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
We are currently using the “free” Cloudflare Email Security and web gateway services provided by the safer schools program. we have all inbound email flowing properly through cloudflare to google workspace (gmail for schools) and has been working fine for a long time. However, we are seeing more and more emails being “lost” or “dropped” due to DMARC/DKIP issues. Other troubleshooting steps tell us to change DMARC settings in the Email Security section of the dashboard but those are not enabled for us as a safer schools program recipient. does anyone have any experience getting this to work? as a side note, cloudflare is not the domain registrar or dns host for our environment either. We have properly but DMARC records in our DNS hosting solution for Google but emails are still being dropped along the path. We’re almost to the point of reverting all cloudflare email security because these messages are critical to our teams and they will not flow properly through Cloudflare to Gmail.
An example of the email rejection from Gmail is:
