Route 53 + partial (CNAME) zone + webflow

We are having issues with our setup - a partial (CNAME) zone.
We use Route 53 + Cloudflare in front of our webpage on Webflow.
Our previous website was on wordpress that flattened our url to NOT include www. We can’t do that with a partial CNAME zone setup on cloudflare. Is there any way it can be flattened without a full dns setup?

Our current records:
Route 53:
A - root to IP1 IP2 (both SSL IPs from webflow) (without this our root domain without www doesn’t work)
CNAME record - to cloudflare

On Cloudflare we have:
A - root to IP1 & IP2 (both non SSL IPs from webflow)
CNAME www to webflow

Webflow default is currently www because switching it over to without www doesn’t work either.

Can please someone help us?

Just to clarify:

  1. we would like to keep our flattened URLs: https://wearenova.ai
  2. we would like to keep route 53 and only use partial DNS - Set up a partial (CNAME) zone · Cloudflare DNS docs because other things break if we move our entire NS to Cloudflare
  3. our website is on webflow and needs to stay there.
  4. current redirects include going from / by the end of each url to not have it (webflow doesn’t support that); then also from root to www and then a changed link structure. Which is a bit much
