Lack of options to choose CA in free plan/eliminate Google from choices

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Google is a massive spyware operation that has been fined billions for continues abuse of the net, for which it is know known for wanting to scoop up the entire internet for CA.

Security people need to wise up and stop tolerating free shiny tools that hit the spyware website for tracking everyone’s activity, and in this case, allowing spyware access to private keys of any website in which it is being used.is

Cloudflare is an excellent service that figured c out not to use Google’s reCaptcha spyware the screenshots/uploads a form it covers (scary, right?). That includes two of the three US consermer credit companies.

All I ask of Cloudflare is get rid of Google “Trusted” service and allow an improved path for use of the origin server’s Let’s Encrypt or other CA.

Brick by brick, let’s dismantle Google’s monopoly in the interweb.

Certificate Authorities don’t get access to private keys.

If you subscribe to the Advanced Certificate Manager, you can choose what CA Cloudflare uses for your domain.

Why stop at Google? Let’s also dismantle Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, and pretty much every large tech company you can think of… as they’ve all been fined in the past. And yes, that includes Cloudflare :smiley:
