I have Custom Hostnames entered with TXT Validation, but didn’t know that I needed to get the value immediately. Now I can’t find the value!
How do I retrieve the value for _cf-custom-hostname now? All I can find is to delete the custom hostname and then recreate it, but that’s a lot of work for so many domains!
Just click on the custom hostname in question to reveal the details, which will include the records and their values.
I had changed them to HTTP Validation, which works but isn’t what I want. So this information isn’t there now.
I tried changing it back to TXT Validation several hours ago, but it still says “Active” and doesn’t give me the values. The DNS doesn’t have the _cf-custom-hostname record, so at some point I know it’s going to stop working without warning.
