Responding to an open support ticket

I have this support ticket open… (#2811895)

I just responded and then read this email…

Hi there, The most recent response to this ticket was sent via e-mail from [email protected]. Responses must come from either the e-mail address that raised the ticket, or the e-mail addresses on copy. To ensure your ticket receives prompt attention, please ensure future replies are from one of the following:

[email protected]

If you’d like to include more emails on this ticket, add CCs through the Cloudflare Support Portal by clicking on Add to conversation, entering the emails in the top bar, and then clicking Submit. Login to join the Cloudflare Community for advice & insight. - - - Unfortunately this address [email protected] is an alias that I use only for Cloudflare, not a real email address. So I can’t reply from the address, and when I click on this link the Cloudflare Support Portal, I get the following:

404 | We can’t find the page you’re looking for. Try performing a search. If you were looking for an article in a language other than English, the article has not yet been translated into your chosen language. Consider changing your language to English and searching again.

What am I going to have to do to respond to the ticket number above? Thanks

It sounds like the easiest option would be to create a sending alias that matches your receiving alias and reply using the existing email address. While the degree of difficulty may vary depending on your choice of tools, the effort is often trivial or minimal.

If that is not to your liking, you can change the email address on your account to one that already has sending capabilities.
