Domain americanarborists.net registration is on GoDaddy, but nameservers are with Cloudflare. Before changing nameservers to GoDaddy, I would like the zone file for complete DNS transfer. I have been hired to transfer the nameservers / DNS to GoDaddy, and then need a verification TXT record to get a new invoicing system. Would really appreciate your help! Eric

Unfortunately nobody (American Arborists staff) has the logon information for the Cloudflare account that maintains the DNS, or I could gather all DNS records myself. This information should be publicly available, but I know many DNS records are difficult to retrieve. Can you please send the zone BIND file to [email protected]?

No, it should not. That’s part of why someone may choose to proxy a website – to help protect the origin.

Only the owner of the account can do that. Nobody else.

That doesn’t help our situation… but thanks for trying. Perhaps the business owner will need to provide documents to prove it is his business.

If you are proposing that as means of account recovery, it is not an option.

The only way you’ll be able to regain access is by having access to the email address of the account.

These links may help, but they only work when logged out

If you know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-password
If you don’t know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-email

If you cannot recover the account using those links, you will need to create the DNS without the current zone file.
